Be Mine

Today is Valentines Day. Wes got me a rose, a beautiful card and a stuffed Elephant (which is so incredibly cute). He also got my car stuck in the driveway, actually at the end of the driveway and he is spending Valentines Day outside shoveling it out. Once he is done I am wanting to go and get some Chinese food. YUM YUM. Poor Sasha still has not gotten a walk. I seriously cant do it right now. I about fell twice at work today slipping around on the snow. Its too slick and I would hate to fall and not be able to get up..with my big ole belly. Not much else going on. I was so tired today. Wish I could have stayed home and slept the day away. But then I would have missed out on taking all those claims for people at work..darn!!! Well, will write more later.

Let it snow

WOW!! Is it ever snowing here in Indiana. At least in northern Indiana. I guess winter decided enough decent weather is enough!! My poor dog has not been on a walk now for two weeks. She doesn't like to go out in this crappy weather either. I will let her out and she runs right back in. Smart dog.

Today my mom and I went shopping at Babies R Us for a lamp, but instead we got the baby mattress, a teething toy, cloth diapers, and diaper pins and the little plastic pants that go over the cloth diapers. It was fun. I still want the lamp though, I think I will have to order it. It is only available online which is kinda obnoxious. Maybe I will tell my dad that is what I want and see if he will get it for me...hahahaha!! It may work. I cant believe my baby shower is next weekend. I am looking forward to it. OH!! Bought a belly braise and it is wonderful. It holds the baby up off my bladder. Its not too tight so its not smashing the kid. But it helps support my back too. And it serves as a postpartum belly support. NICE!! I think its a worthy investment. Wes has been hanging out at the house all day in his jammies, he said his goal is not to change. I cant say I blame him. Its cold outside. I stopped and got me, my mom and Wes a hot chocolate from Starbucks..good stuff. Gotta love the Starbucks.

Went to the Dr. today and everything is great. She said the heart beat is nice and strong. The baby has been moving around a lot lately. Everything going good. This was my 32 week check up. Going back in two weeks. That means I have about 7 weeks to go at this point!!

This morning I went into the coffee shop Wes and I go into every morning and the girl who owns the business looked at me with such surprise when I walked in the door. The she exclaimed, "I thought you were in labor!". I was like no way..not until April. She was like, your husband was in here this morning and said you were in labor. I was like not he mumbles I can assure you he probably said that I would be in later!!! We started to laugh about it and then she was like, he probably thinks Im nuts cuz I told him good luck.

I called him and he said that he did think it was kinda strange, but didnt think much of it. He told me I was right and he told her I would be in later. I knew it..hahahahaha.. He is my night owl..not a good communicator in the A.M..

Not much else going on. Just sleeping a lot. My family/friend baby shower is next weekend. I am looking forward to it very much. It should be a lot of fun. I hope lots of people make it, so it can be a big party.

After This Kid Comes OUT!!!

OK after I have this baby I have been inspired by some old pictures, such as the one above, to get back to close to the above size. No necessarily that small, cuz lets face it I was senior in High School but down to a healthy reasonable weight. I did join Fitness USA and have been swimming here and there since I have been prego, but once this baby is born I'm gonna see if a trainer will help me out and go every other day!! Plus start eating healthy..like crazy healthy. I have three months before I go back to work and I want to shock everyone silly. I suppose if I start setting that goal for myself now then when the time comes it will be set in my head. So you may hear me mention it over and over again throughout the blog and well I will keep my progress on this once the baby comes.

Speaking of baby coming. WOW!! Eight weeks to go. I can not believe it. The time has gone by so fast. I'm gonna be a mommy. I am so excited. Now that its bigger in my belly, I am feeling it move around a lot more. It really goes wild when I drink a glass of OJ. It must like it.

We really need to get started on the nursery. I have felt like crap lately. Just been sleeping mostly. After work, I sleep. On weekends I sleep. Its getting kinda old. I am ready to birth this kid so I can hopefully regain some of my energy. I know it will be tough at first cuz the kid will not sleep through the night, but if I'm lucky it will be like me and enjoy sleeping...if its like Wes then I'm in serious trouble. He is most def. a night owl.

Not much else going on..like I said just sleeping most of the time. So nothing too exciting to talk about.
