Just another day in heaven

Not a whole lot going on here. Just went to Tara and Darins today. It was Daymon's 8th birthday party. It was a lot of fun. It is hard to believe that Owen will be that age one day. Billy Penland was there. It was great to see him. His little boys are so big. Not much else going on. My mom and I are going to pick a weekend to pain the kitchen and I am also going to get my carpet cleaned at the same time. She bought me some really cool dishes.

Owen is doing great. Getting so big and handsome. Took him to visit work this past Friday. Everyone loved him so much...how can they not..lol.. Steve Plew is the apple of Owens eye..he knows a good soul when he sees one.

My Birthday Dinner

Well my birthday is today I am officially the BIG 3-0!! Yeppers I have made it to 30. I am very excited about this new chapter in my life. I have my sweet baby boy and my wonderful husband. Wes got me a Glider Rocking Chair which makes me so freakin happy. It is orange too...ha Karen I was right. My mom got me a beautiful necklace and Karen got me a really pretty bracelet. I hate it when Karen leaves she is like my family. Anyways here are some pictures of last nights diner. Today my mom came over also with some yummy apple pie..no birthday cake this year..lol. Not that I am too sad I may not be able to blow out 30 candles. On Friday Stacy decorated my cubicle and got me some balloons and flowers. It was cool. Overall I think I had a great birthday and it was wonderful to be able to spend it with the ones I love the most..even though I have been kinda crabby...but please forgive me for that I am sleep deprived and sick..sooooooo!!!

Today we also went to Babies R Us and got Owen a super great high chair and were going to return our car seat tomorrow for one we like. The only way they will take it back is if we get another one from there and buy the buyers protection plan..but fair enough. I do not have the box or receipt. So the only one we found that we like and that Owen fits is is 100 dollars more then the one we originally bought. Good think I worked that extra day this week..lol. Today will be day three of the meds

Well I am having a lot of drainage with this cold and it is making me cough like crazy. The medication is making Owen poo like crazy..lol. No constipation for him. Just one more day of this crazy antibiotic and were done..and that is today. She said I should be feeling better by Monday. I am already feeling considerably better. It is amazing how these colds can attack you and just hang on for dear life..or in my case turn into a sinus infection..wonderful!!! I am not sure I mentioned this the other day but she told me to go get Claritin to help keep myself from getting this way and it is safe to take with the baby. I finally realize what has been making my eyes do strange things and it is my allergies. FUN STUFF!!! Love living in Indiana. Owen is still sneezing and coughing too. I think I am going to take him to the doctor. I feel bad for him. I hope he is not feeling like me. I am sure he is not he would probably be screaming if he was..because I feel like I want to scream. I wish I could take a decongestant..but I know I cant. That would help a lot.

Anyway enough about us sickies! Tonight were all going to Antonios for my birthday dinner. I am so excited..I love to eat there. It is so good. Karen, Darcey, Anthony, Tara, Darin, Stacy, Greg and Kevin are all going..plus the three of us. Saturday is my actual birthday and I am going to be the BIG 30!! Ha!! I am so excited about it. It had a certain mature ring about it. Now having my baby and working and being married makes me feel mature.

Owen is becoming more and more infatuated with Sasha these days. It is so cute. She makes him smile and sometimes crack up. He is sitting in his jumperoo being really good just watching her right now..at lets see 4:30 am. Yes he gets me up early sometimes. We would normally curl back up and go to bed on Fridays but today I have a chiropractor appointment at 8:30 am and then off to work until 3 pm and then I scheduled a massage last night for 3:30 until 4 then I will be home at 4:30 then get ready to go out to eat. WOW!!! It will be a busy day.

My milk supply is coming back full force..lol. Which makes me happy. Taking the Tylenol cold dried up my milk supply..did not know this until I went to the Doctor of course. So that is why she gave me stuff safe to take that will not do that. But I had called La Leche League the other day about getting it back and she said to drink a lot of fluid and rest and nurse. So I have been doing all of that minus the rest..no time for that when your working and being a full time mommy!!! We do go to bed fairly early though.

Well Owen is ready to go back to bed I think.

This cold will NOT go away

I have been sick now for four days. I have had to stay home from work for two days now. It sucks. I hate being sick. Especially in the summer...this is no time to be stuck in the house with a cold. Lucky for me I have Tara and she has kept Owen for me yesterday so I could get a little rest. He is a good baby. I swear I love him so much..anyway that was off the subject. I can not wait to call the doctor today I think it is time to go in. I think I may have a sinus infection. It truly hurts my head when I lay down. Strange....

I think Owen is getting tired again cuz he is in his jumperoo fussing. Its too cute. Well better get him out and nursing. Maybe I can get a bit of rest with him.

Seriously I love the Mya Wrap. It is so nice to just strap him to me and walk around hands free. He is big enough now that I can sit him on my hip. It is great. He liked it too..being close to momma and all.

Not feeling too hot

Well this weekend went really fast. Saturday Wes and I drove around and delivered a lot of Body Shop and Pampered Chef products. We also went to the mall before that and we ate at Garfield's. After all the running we went to Grandma Hoogenboom's, Ashley was in town. Owen got to meet her..he seemed to really take to her. Grandpa Hoogenboom had him cracking..it was so cute. He has been snotty all weekend. Then Sunday Wes and I just hung out at home and we also did on Monday too. I started to feel sick Sunday night and it just keeps getting worse. I feel horrid this morning. The worse yet. I am sweaty and tired and my bones hurt..sounds strange..but its true. I decided not to go to work. I can not even function right now. I think I am going to take the baby to Tara's for a while and I am going to crash out. Not much else happening. Owen is still snotty and coughing. Wes has it too. No fun when the entire family is sick.
