Five weeks to go

I cant believe that I only have five weeks left. At least that is if Baby comes on time. My belly is getting huge and I do not have a belly button any longer. I get full really easy now, and I feel kinda sick after I eat. The baby is pushing on all sorts of nerves in there and my legs and arms are tingling and I am having lower abdominal cramps. All which are normal, my midwife says. The heart beat was 145 and luckily I went to this appointment on my Friday off so my blood pressure was 120/75. Now, in two weeks I will go back and made an appointment after work, lets see how high it is then. LOL!! But they have been taking it a little easier on me since I told them about my blood pressure. So maybe it is working. Which is good because I really want to work up until the baby comes. I kinda want it to be over due until Easter. I love Easter and I think that would be a great day for my kid to have a birthday. How fun the parties would be, we could have great big easter egg hunts and cake and presents and all sorts of fun things. I almost bought the baby some little shirts yesterday at Burlington Coat Factory. But decided to wait until after my baby shower at work. I may get that stuff. Burlington Coat Factory rocks and I think that is where I am going to get a lot of stuff for the baby. Its a bit cheaper than Babies R Us. Well my weight gain is out of this world. I have put on a whopping 50 pounds. HOLY COW!! Everyone tells me not to worry it will come off. I hope so. Thank goodness it is going to be born in the spring and I will be able to swim three times a week at Fitness. I think I will put myself on strict healthy diet too. Anyways, only three classes left of the baby class. I did not go to the last two cuz I was sick last week and exhausted. Yes sick again. It never seems to really go away. I have been trying to walk Sasha to get some exercise. She has been pretty happy about that. But it is still pretty cold here. Well, still getting ready for baby. Next week I am getting a half an hour massage..really looking forward to that. Doing some laundry right now and finishing up the baby clothing and blankets that I do have for baby now. WOW its right around the corner and I get to meet this beautiful little person. I can not wait!!!

My Baby Shower

My baby shower with my friends and family was yesterday. It was so much fun. It was great everyone could come, except my friend Ginger who had to go and hurt herself. (just joking Ging). I got a lot of great gifts. Thank you everyone!! I also got some advise cards. I will put those online soon. I will also add some pictures a little later.

Be Mine

Today is Valentines Day. Wes got me a rose, a beautiful card and a stuffed Elephant (which is so incredibly cute). He also got my car stuck in the driveway, actually at the end of the driveway and he is spending Valentines Day outside shoveling it out. Once he is done I am wanting to go and get some Chinese food. YUM YUM. Poor Sasha still has not gotten a walk. I seriously cant do it right now. I about fell twice at work today slipping around on the snow. Its too slick and I would hate to fall and not be able to get up..with my big ole belly. Not much else going on. I was so tired today. Wish I could have stayed home and slept the day away. But then I would have missed out on taking all those claims for people at work..darn!!! Well, will write more later.

Let it snow

WOW!! Is it ever snowing here in Indiana. At least in northern Indiana. I guess winter decided enough decent weather is enough!! My poor dog has not been on a walk now for two weeks. She doesn't like to go out in this crappy weather either. I will let her out and she runs right back in. Smart dog.

Today my mom and I went shopping at Babies R Us for a lamp, but instead we got the baby mattress, a teething toy, cloth diapers, and diaper pins and the little plastic pants that go over the cloth diapers. It was fun. I still want the lamp though, I think I will have to order it. It is only available online which is kinda obnoxious. Maybe I will tell my dad that is what I want and see if he will get it for me...hahahaha!! It may work. I cant believe my baby shower is next weekend. I am looking forward to it. OH!! Bought a belly braise and it is wonderful. It holds the baby up off my bladder. Its not too tight so its not smashing the kid. But it helps support my back too. And it serves as a postpartum belly support. NICE!! I think its a worthy investment. Wes has been hanging out at the house all day in his jammies, he said his goal is not to change. I cant say I blame him. Its cold outside. I stopped and got me, my mom and Wes a hot chocolate from Starbucks..good stuff. Gotta love the Starbucks.
