WoW time is going too FAST

I need to put more pictures on my computer. I am just getting acquainted with this computer so not a whole lot on here yet. So my week has not been the most perfect week ever.....One cool thing is that Owen is standing up with the help of hard objects. And he is teething. He has some showing in the top of his mouth. It wont be long before my little man has teeth and is walking. No crawling yet.

Bad news is that Sasha ate some desatine and it cost us 700 dollars, yes I did say 700 dollars to get her better. And I lost my wedding rings. Wonderful huh?? Could the dog have eaten those too?? Or did Owen?? OYE VEY!!! Ok I am sure that neither the dog or Owen ate the rings..I think we would have found them in the poo by now..it has been a few days since I noticed they were gone.

Not much else happening..just time is passing so quickly.

Time to get caught up

Well well. Lets see where do I start?? Owen is saying, "uhhh, ohhhh" it is so cute. He also says mamamamama. dadadadadada. and tititititititit. TITI is funny because it means he wants to nurse. How cute. He is finally starting to get on his hands and knees and rocking a little bit. It is so cute. He also rolls over and sleeps on his side now. He is still getting me up constantly all night long to nurse. He just is not interested in solid food. I try and try but no luck. I think I am seriously going to stop feeding him it for a while and try again. Good thing I am still nursing so he at least gets my nutrition.

We got his flu shot yesterday. I got the non preservative one, which is a great option now days. He has to go back in a month to get a second dose, just because it is his first year getting it ever. He had no reaction to it and he did not even feel it go in his leg. It was a good experience. I also had my play group yesterday. Amanda came for a short while and then Stacy and Kevin came and Lisa, Marc and Lucas came. I really like them!! They are so sweet and it is fun knowing people with a baby the same age as your own. Like Heather and Max too. But Lucas is 16 hours younger than Owen. So even though Lucas was born on a different day he is technically not even a whole day older. Lisa and Marc were in our child birthing class. It is so hard to believe that, it was 7 months ago. I remember last year at this time I started to look into which child birthing class I wanted to take..now look. My little boy is getting so big.

OH funny story. We were at the grocery store the other day and this really loud little boy was yelling at Owen. And Owen thought it was the funniest thing ever. So Owen was squealing and laughing back at the little boy. Both boys had half of the grocery stores attention. It was really cute.

Lately it has been really hard for me to pump at work. So I have been pumping on my way to work or on my way home. Yes as I drive. Now seriously how would I explain that if I got pulled over??? LOL!!!

You know you have a boy when....

OK so Owen does not crawl yet, but hey who cares, I got one that is better..he will fart on command! I was cracking up today..I had him on the floor and I was rolling him around. I then looked at him and said go ummmmm and pooot (of course I was making noises not saying um and poot). He would look at me and push and fart. It was so funny I tried it again..he looked at me pushed and farted again..we both squealed in delight..ha!! Then I thought, maybe this is not real and it is coincidence??? Let me try this one more time..ok..here goes. "Owen go ummmmm and poot!" I said. He looked at me smiled really shy like and pushed and farted. I picked him up and hugged him and told him he was such a great boy...

I am slacking

I am seriously slacking on this thing. My hard drive on my computer took a crap..so I am working on a borrowed hard drive so I can not download my photos on it. Soooo...I am patiently awaiting a new hard drive to come in the mail.

Anyway, What has been going on in our lives. Owen is sick and on an antibiotic. He has a sinus infection. Poor little guy. Wes and I have also been snotty and sick. So were not going to visit my grandma once again. I hope she does not think we are blowing her off because I am not. It just seems like every visit we plan something comes up with baby.

Owen is going to stay at Tara's house until he gets into Growing Kids. Where we are currently on the pending list. It looks like it will be a nice place to put him. I am looking forward to it. I think he will have fun. More than likely be exhausted when we get him home. It will give me a place to take him on Fridays if I need a break and want to take a nice hot bath..lol!!!! What is a nice hot bath????? What is a good book???? What is a life that does not revolve around paying bills, cleaning up after the dog, cleaning the house, doing laundry and caring for the baby????? Not that I am complaining though I do love every minute of it!!!! Especially the caring for baby. Unbelievable that he is 7 months already. Wow!! He is pulling himself up using my shirt. Still no desire to crawl or even attempt to. He really likes to roll. He is so quick to laugh and smile at people. And people just love him and can not keep their hands off him. Today a big biker guy was talking all baby talk to him. It was so cute.

I have been pretty tired lately. It was nice to nap with Owen today. We cuddled up for both the morning and afternoon naps. He is such a little love bug.

Whats New??

Owen kept a beat last week at music class. It was so cute. He hit the drum three times in a row after the music teacher stopped singing. And he did that three times in a row.

He is starting to clap his hands together.
Then last Sat. we went to Yoga class. It was so much fun. We also ran into Lisa and Marcus from our prenatal classes. We went and had a coffee with them. I am going to email her this week to chit chat for a while. Lucas her little one is one day younger than Owen.

Also last Friday we went and got some Indian food and it was SOOOOO good!!

So far my week has been ok. Today it was decided that Owen will not go to Tara's any more. So starting next week we will be taking him to Goshen to Heather and Nates. GO HEATHER for real. She is volunteering to watch Owen and she has Max who was born on the same day as Owen. WOW!!! You go girl!! I asked her over and over and over if she was sure. I think he will have a lot of fun rolling around with Max. We will have double the drive though..boy oh boy..lots of getting use to the car. I will miss my mornings with Owen, since daddy will be the one to drop him off so I can get to work by 7 am. But it should all work out, it always does. It will be short term until we can get him in a daycare. I am kinda hoping to get him into La Petite in South Bend. At least he would be close and I could go and hang out with him. Or Growing Kids here off of Bristol St. would be super nice too. Even if I do get a transfer, which I really hope I will be getting. Perhaps if not then I can trade Maggie at work and go down to three days a week.

I have to admit I have been pretty stressed about Owen going somewhere new. Just trying to find a place..OMG!!! Everywhere I called there are waiting lists. I am not done making calls though. I am bound and determined to find something. (Note I think it will be great for him to be with Heather, but she is clear on the other side of Goshen..once again lots of driving. But I am very thankful that she is going to help me out until I can find something closer..so thanks again Heather..if you read this...LOL). I can tell Owen is feeling my stress too because he kept jerking awake from his sleep when I put him down tonight..and the last time he did that was when I fell and was completely freaked out all day about it. He is a very sensitive boy!!! But that is what makes him so sweet too.

I have a nasty cold sore and can not wait for it to go away. It is a small one right in the crack of my lip..and it hurts like CRAZY. Not to mention I do not like having them because I have to resist giving my baby boy lots of kisses..boo hooo...and I know he needs them..what baby doesn't.

Also found out that Sara Smith is moving back to this area with her new hubby sometime next summer..wooo hooo. I am so excited about that. I seriously thought I was gonna pee my pants..hahahaa. Now she just needs to have some babies..lol..

OK enough I have to get up early and drag myself around, still getting use to being back on early shift.
