Took the kids to Concord Bounce

Took the kids to the mall today to Concord Bounce. We were there for a half an hour. We ate pizza and pretzels for lunch. Came home and played outside for about two minutes until Owen face planted Silas.

I am devastated by this! The one place you would think there is no way this could ever happen, elementary school AND kindergartners to boot! My kindergartner fell asleep laying his head on me tonight and I am so blessed to have him with me. I think there are 18 families out there who lost their sweet little ones today, they will not ever have them fall asleep in their arms and my heart hurts for them.

My heart breaks that the reality is that my child may not be safe in school, adding yet another worry to my day! May God watch over the families of everyone who lost their lives today!

Hug those you love, hold on to them no matter what!

Home sick

Well it's def that time of year again. Owen was sick on Monday, Wes on Tuesday and now little Silas on Thursday. I am home with Si today, luckily because my tummy has been making some crazy noises. Everyone is coughing and feeling blah! Mentally I am an emotional mess. Work has been hard on me, and so has some negative comments that were made around Thanksgiving, I know don't let it get you down. I think I am just done trying to bring people together...I've realized it's not worth my sanity, as long as Wes and I give 100% to our boys that is all that really matters!

If Si is feeling better tomorrow I am going to go see Breaking Dawn with a friend, and oh I hope he is, for his sake and my time out.

Well better get off here have o go get Owen, not sure how Si is going to take being woke up!

Silas had a Thomas birthday 2012

Silas turned two June 3rd. We celebrated at home with a bounce house and with friends and family. Was a hot but fun day!
